Lift out the lined drawer every few days and replace the liner.
Use clumping litter only
Non-clumping litter will not separate correctly in the drum.
Give it a settling-in period
Leave the box switched off for a day or two so a nervous cat can explore it first.
Keep it on a level floor
An uneven surface can affect the sifting cycle.

Care & safety
Empty the drawer regularly and wipe the drum with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water.
